Easter Weekend Activities - March 29-31, 2024
March 30th, 2024- Saturday
9:00 am - Annual Easter Bunny Pictures - Bring the family and join us for a family favorite at River Falls! Come and enjoy Coffee, Juice, Donuts & Danish with the Easter Bunny! Have your picture made with our lovable River Falls Easter bunny.
10:00 am - Kids Craft - Make a Bunny - An adorable bunny made out of a glass!
Noon - Easter Egg Hunt - Watch your children’s faces light up in anticipation as they await to see who will find the Golden Egg during the annual Easter egg hunt. Prizes to be awarded for the Golden Eggs so bring your best egg-hunting skills and make those reservations today!
2:00 pm - Golf Cart Parade - Dress your golf cart up like everyone's favorite little rabbit, Peter Cottontail!
March 31st, 2024- EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE- 9:30 am - Please join us for our Easter service with Mr. Bobby as we offer praise and worship in our outdoor amphitheater in Section A (behind Bathhouse A) for all that would like to attend. 30-minute service. (Service will be held in our upper clubhouse in case of cold or rainy weather.)
May 10-12th - Mother's Day Weekend! Treat MOM or that special someone to A WEEKEND OF RELAXATION in the North GA mountains!
May 11th – Saturday
10:00 am – Kids Craft - Paint Flower Pots – Paint a beautiful flower pot for your mother, plant a flower bulb, and make her a beautiful card.
11:00 am – Sidewalk Chalk – Leave a note for mom on the sidewalk in front of the clubhouse.
May 12th - Sunday
9:30 am - Church Service - Amphitheater by A bathhouse - Mother's Day
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND! May 24th – 27th (3-night minimum)
May 25th - Saturday
10:00 am – Kids Craft – To be Determined
2:00 pm – Tubing Contest – Grab your tubes and head for the water. See who can make it to the finish line in first, second, and third places. Meet at Bathhouse B!
May 26th – Sunday
4:00 pm – Golf Cart Parade – Our theme this year will focus on honoring our veterans, so deck those golf carts out to show support for our veterans.
7:00 pm – Talent Show – Come join us for a talent filled night at common area in A section! Bring your talent and show us what you got! We will have first, second, and third places winners.
Father's Day Weekend! June 14-16th –
June 15th – Saturday
9:00 am to 5:00 pm – Fishing Contest – Fish any time from 9 to 5 and show us what you caught! First will be the biggest fish and second place will be the most fish; we will determined at 5 pm up at the common area in A.
1:00 pm – Kids Craft – Treasure Box for Dad – Make a treasure box, and make a father’s day card for dad, or granddad.
JULY 4TH WEEKEND- July 4-7th
July 4th – Thursday
10:00 am – Kids Craft – To Be Determined
July 5th – Friday
10:00 am – Scavenger Hunt – You will sign up in the office and receive your scavenger hunt instructions.
8:00 pm – Movie Night – Come and watch a movie with us under the stars in common area A. We will have popcorn and bottled water.
July 6th – Saturday
11:00 am – Duck Derby – Pick your duck up at bathhouse B and we will show you where the race will begin.
July 7th – Sunday
9:30 am - Praise & Worship with Mr. Bobby in the outdoor Amphitheater
1:00 pm – Bike Parade – Bring those bikes and get ready to parade around in B section. Pedal, pedal, pedal!
8:00 pm – Golf Cart Parade – Dress them golf carts up and show your pride for the USA!
LABOR DAY WEEKEND! - August 30 - Sept. 2nd
We have a fun and busy weekend planned for you as we celebrate Labor Day Weekend. Please be sure to sign up for activities when you check in!
Saturday, 8/31- 10:00 Kids crafts - Club House
11:00 Corn Hole Tournament - Poolside.
Sunday, 9/1 9:30 Praise & worship with Mr. Bobby - Outdoor amphitheater
8:00 Light up your golf cart for the parade

October 18th- 20th 2024- 12th Annual HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR WEEKEND #1 - Hayrides, kids crafts, Friday Night movie, DJ Dance Spooktacular, Costume Contest ( Adults & Children) Site Decorating contest, trick or treat. Golf Cart Decorating contest
October 25th- 27th-12th Annual HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR WEEKEND #2- Hayrides, kids crafts, DJ Dance Spooktacular, Costume Contest ( Adults & Children) Site Decorating contest! Trick or treat. Golf Cart Decorating contest.
****Please note these two event dates are extremely hard to get. These dates are already booking and are a definite crowd favorite for families of all ages! Adults and children enjoy this event and we have campers come that just love to come for the extreme site decorating contest, or just want to come be a special part of the trick or treating for the littles. Our DJ Dance Spooktacular at the end of the night each Saturday night to wrap up each weekend is an awesome time and one to be remembered! We are proud to say we have one of the best Fall campground Halloween experiences in North GA and we just keep adding to it every year! NOVEMBER 25th December 1st, 2024 - THANKSGIVING WEEK!
TREE LIGHTING!!! 7:30 pm Nov. 29th, 2024
This is a River Falls first! Lets bring in the Christmas season with the lighting of our River Falls Christmas tree by the Main clubhouse! Join us in the upper Clubhouse to enjoy refreshments and music along with a visit from Santa for the kids! Santa will then give the order for our River Falls elves to light up the tree to begin our Christmas season!
This should be fun for everyone.
We will also be taking donations of unwrapped new toys for "Richards Kids" , a non-profit organization that helps bring joy to our local Rabun County children and their families during the Christmas Season. Donations are very much appreciated and we thank you in advance for being a part of helping our local community. Please shop locally when visiting . We have a lot of amazing small businesses here with great owners and we all appreciate your patronage.
DECEMBER 28th, 2024 - SATURDAY!! - ROCKIN’ RIVER NEW YEARS 2024! - We will be Rocking’ the River with DJ Gary! Book your cabin or sites EARLY!!!! Don’t wait until the last minute to reserve this one! Don’t winterize those campers down just yet!
***Our Non-Denominational Church Service is held every Sunday at 9:30 am in our Amphitheater during nice weather and in the upper clubhouse in case of rain or colder weather. Join our River Falls camping congregation any time for an uplifting spiritual message.
***Thank you for Camping with River Falls at the Gorge! We appreciate your business and we hope to be able to continue to provide you with fun family friendly events. We add to this itinerary throughout the year so check back frequently. On Non-Event weekends please check with the office for other activities that may be scheduled for the campground or in the local area. ****
