Thank you for choosing River Falls At The Gorge. All guests need to check-in and register at our main office located at 32 US Hwy 441, LAKEMONT, GA 30552. Our Address will not program into your GPS so please enter Tallulah Gorge as your reference point, we are 1 1/2 miles North of the Gorge on Hwy 441 N. We welcome potential campers to tour our park but we request that you please do so after 1:00 pm check out time. Due to safety concerns for our guests, we DO NOT ALLOW TOURS ON HOLIDAY weekends and when we are at full capacity. We have limited parking and a very busy campground. This policy is in place for our guests protection. Tours are allowed only during office hours.
Reservations & Cancellations Policy:
Reservations require a (NON-REFUNDABLE) deposit of the (first) 1st night's payment to hold your site.
Maximum occupancy for sites is 6 persons
One RV allowed per site or 2 tents per site
NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD ALLOWED. Pine beetles destroy our trees and for this reason you may not bring outside firewood into our park. Please help us limit the damage these beetles do to our beautiful facility and keep our park trees healthy and happy.
GOLF CARTS are allowed in our park. Driver must have a valid drivers license. No children are allowed to operate golf carts inside River Falls at the Gorge.
NO ATV'S, DIRT MOTORCYCLES, GATORS, SIDE BY SIDES, or ELECTRIC CHILDREN's Versions of these allowed in the park.
One vehicle per site is allowed. You may park a second vehicle in the upper parking lot at no charge. Any additional vehicle must register at the front office and will incur a $5.00 parking fee then park in the upper parking lot.
Cabin rentals may have two vehicles parked in the driveway of the unit. No parking on roadsides or yard areas of cabins,
ALL vehicles must be registered to a site or cabin. NO Parking on roadsides or in vacant sites,
Utility trailers must be parked in our RV storage area. Our hosts will be happy to help with this. No trailers are to be parked at sites.
CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY
We hate to see you cancel but if you must cancel this MUST BE SENT IN WRITING VIA EMAIL at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Guests may reschedule their date ( One time courtesy) 72 hours before the arrival date - not valid for Holiday Reservations. There are NO VOUCHERS & NO REFUNDS for holiday or event dates. After the 72 hour cancellation period has expired (3 days prior), Guest forfeits rescheduling & their deposit. If reservation is canceled within the proper time frame there is only one transfer allowed and it must be used within 3 months of the original date booked if cancelled within the 72 hour time period. NO SHOWS or SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS will incur the charge of the full reservation to the credit card on file. Reservation dates may not be shortened during the 72 hour period prior to arrival or upon arrival. You are responsible for your full balance at the time of check in. Deposits are non-transferable to another reservation in a group, site or person.
All reservations MUST be paid in full prior to proceeding into our campground. Please note our office hours. If you have not checked in one hour prior to closing we will automatically bill the credit card on file for the remaining balance and leave your check in paper work outside our front office door in the late check in box. NO RV or TENT SET UP AFTER QUIET TIME 10:00 pm
ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS for no-show or early departures for ANY REASON, unless it is a life threatening weather condition that requires evacuation from the area WE are located in and issued by our local government. A voucher will be given in this case only. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Holiday week/weekend cancellations will NOT be refunded or transferred. Guests will forfeit deposit if reservation is cancelled or is a no show. NO SHOWS OR SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS WILL BE CHARGED FULL PAYMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS
No refunds or vouchers will be given due to in climate weather (wind, rain, snow, thunderstorms, etc) . We cannot control Mother Nature.
RV & TENT SITES :
CHECK IN : 1:00 pm- 10:00 pm
CHECK OUT: 12:00 pm
* Late check outs for sites can be secured for an additional 29.00 if available on your site and it will allow you to stay until 5 pm on your original check out day.
CABINS & RV RENTALS:
CHECK-IN: 3:00 pm
CHECK OUT: 11:00 am .
RENTALS Requires a 2 night minimum stay.l Pets are welcome in Cabin B and F. Small pets are welcome in River Sands RV and Walking Bear RV Rentals . All Rental units are NON - SMOKING. A damage deposit of 200.00 will be assessed if there is evidence of smoking in a rental unit or a Pet in a non pet friendly unit upon departure. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO IMMEDIATELY VACATE A RENTAL UNIT IF WE FIND A PET IN A NON PET FRIENDLY UNIT without refund. Late check outs after 11:00 am will be charged one nights rental.
* RV rental Units are operated solely by Windy Sky, LLC , Windy Sky, LLC reserves the right to move, interchange, change, upgrade or remove any unit on their lease sites with a courtesy notice. If this occurs and the replacement unit is not available to you then you will be given an accommodation option through River Falls at the Gorge equal to your payment amount.
If there is a problem with your rental accommodation or with any amenity during your stay, you must call us and report it to us at the time the issue occurs so that we may correct the problem immediately. There will be a 24 hour number located on your check in paperwork for extreme emergencies and we have hosts located in each section of the park in site A49 and B0, as well as, onsite property management. WE WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS OR CREDIT VOUCHERS for a complaint launched at the end of a completed stay. Please Read your reservation confirmation carefully and understand the description of your rental unit or site you have reserved and all its amenities. We Do not refund for failure to read descriptions of site sizes and hook ups for site or rental unit descriptions, This is your responsibility to choose a site that is appropriate for your RV and one vehicle.
We do offer Satellite TV in some RV rentals and Tree houses through Direct TV and Dish network and maintain these to the best of our ability but cannot GUARANTEE the Service provider will always provide a good a signal to these units. Many factors beyond our control contribute to outages such as weather etc. WE WILL NOT REFUND OR DISCOUNT for a unit with satellite outages.
