Thank you for choosing River Falls At The Gorge. All guests need to check-in and register at our main office located at 32 US Hwy 441, LAKEMONT, GA 30552. Our Address will not program into your GPS so please enter Tallulah Gorge as your reference point, we are 1 1/2 miles North of the Gorge on Hwy 441 N. We welcome potential campers to tour our park but we request that you please do so after 1:00 pm check out time. Due to safety concerns for our guests, we DO NOT ALLOW TOURS ON HOLIDAY weekends and when we are at full capacity. We have limited parking and a very busy campground. This policy is in place for our guest's protection. Tours are allowed only during office hours.

All Guests MUST PUT IN THE TAG NUMBER OF THE VEHICLE TOWING YOUR UNIT when reserving their campsite online. If you do not provide an accurate license plate, you will be asked at the time of check-in. We are implementing a new gate system that requires this information so we can keep our park safe. We strive to keep our guests safe and secure while at our park.
OUR PARK SPEED LIMIT IS 10 MILES PER HOUR AND NO FASTER. We ask our guest to abide by this rule for the safety of our guest and their children that play in our park. This speed limit is for vehicles, electric bicycles, golf-carts, side-by-sides, etc.
Reservations require a (NON-REFUNDABLE) deposit of the (first) 1st night's payment to hold your campsite.
Maximum occupancy for sites is 6 persons
One RV allowed per site
NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD ALLOWED. Pine beetles destroy our trees and for this reason you may not bring outside firewood into our park. Please help us limit the damage these beetles do to our beautiful facility and keep our park trees healthy and happy.
(GOLF CARTS ARE ALLOWED IN OUR PARK. DRIVER MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENISE. NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED TO OPERATE GOLF CARTS INSIDE RIVER FALLS AT THE GORGE).
(NO ATV'S, DIRT MOTORCYCLES, GATORS, SIDE BY SIDES, or ELECTRIC CHILDREN's Versions of these allowed in the park).
ONE VEHICLE PER SITE IS ALLOWED. You may park a second vehicle in the upper parking lot at no charge or in our overflow parking lots that we have put in for our guest.
Cabin rentals may have two vehicles parked in the driveway of the unit. No parking on roadsides or yard areas of cabins,
ALL vehicles must be registered to a site or cabin. NO Parking on roadsides or in vacant sites,
Utility trailers must be parked in our RV storage area. Our hosts will be happy to help with this. No trailers are to be parked at sites.
CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY
Reservations require a (NON-REFUNDABLE) deposit of the (first) 1st night's payment to hold your site OR CABIN if booking more than 14 days prior to arrival.
CAMPSITE CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY
We hate to see you cancel but if you must cancel this MUST BE SENT IN WRITING VIA EMAIL at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guests may reschedule their date for campsites( One time courtesy) 72 hours before the arrival date - not valid for Holiday Reservations. There are NO VOUCHERS & NO REFUNDS for holiday or event dates. After the 72 hour cancellation period has expired (3 days prior), Guest forfeits rescheduling & their deposit. If reservation is canceled within the proper time frame there is a one transfer allowed and it must be used within 1 year of the cancellation date. If you cancel a second time on a courtesy transfer that you previously cancelled, you will forfeit your deposit. NO SHOWS or SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS will incur the charge of the full reservation to the credit card on file. No show sites will be released by noon the following day. Rentals are released by 10:00 am the following day. There will be absolutely no refund given for no shows or same day cancellations. Reservation dates may not be shortened during the 72 hour period prior to arrival or upon arrival. You are responsible for your full balance at the time of check in. Deposits are non-transferable to another reservation you have on the same date, in a group, site or person. Reservations made more than ONE month in advance to secure a booking cannot change the date of arrival to after the originally scheduled date, you may edit it to come in prior to the original date. ( THIS IS TO ELIMINATE THE BYPASS OF OUR 365 DAY RULE)
CABIN, and TREEHOUSE CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY-
Cabins, Rv sites and Treehouses cancellations must be sent in writing via email to email@example.com. We do not accept phone cancellations.
Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to check in date will receive a voucher for a one time only courtesy date change valid for 6 months. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to check in date or any holiday or event weekend cancellation will forfeit their full stay.
Beginning with stay dates of Jan 1, 2022 and beyond , A one night initial deposit is required to secure any TREEHOUSE, CABIN, if booking with stay dates prior to 14 days before check in. Any unit booked within a 14 day arrival period will automatically be charged the FULL payment whether booked online or by the River Falls staff. ( Note: Online reservations take one night automatically and staff will manually charge remaining balance if you fall within the 14 day arrival period.)
If we are unable to retrieve remaining balance, your reservation will be canceled with a deposit forfeit. We do not issue refunds for any reason other than a state mandated evacuation in our area. Same day cancellations or no shows will forfeit the full balance minus the cleaning fee. Reservations are non transferable. You are responsible for reading the unit descriptions in their entirety.
All campsite and Cabin reservations MUST be paid in full prior to proceeding into our campground. Please note our office hours. If you have not checked in one hour prior to closing we will automatically bill the credit card on file for the remaining balance and leave your check in paper work outside our front office door in the late check in box. NO RV SET UP AFTER QUIET TIME 10:00 pm
ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS for no-show or early departures for ANY REASON, unless it is a life threatening weather condition that requires evacuation from the area WE are located in and issued by our local government. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Holiday week/weekend cancellations will NOT be refunded or transferred. Guests will forfeit deposit if reservation is cancelled or is a no show. NO SHOWS OR SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS WILL BE CHARGED FULL PAYMENT.
No refunds or vouchers will be given due to in climate weather (wind, rain, snow, thunderstorms, etc.) . We cannot control Mother Nature.
We are located at 32 Resort Dr. Lakemont, GA 30552 - It is 1 1/2 miles past Jane Hurt Yarn Rd on 441 as you pass through Tallulah Falls into Lakemont, GA -GPS will bring you here if you type in River Falls at the Gorge. The address will not populate in most GPS systems.

If there is a problem with your rental accommodation or with any amenity during your stay, you must call us and report it to us at the time the issue occurs so that we may correct the problem immediately. There will be a 24 hour number located on your check in paperwork for extreme emergencies. WE WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS OR CREDIT VOUCHERS for a complaint launched at the end of a completed stay. Please Read your reservation confirmation carefully and understand the description of your rental unit or site you have reserved and all its amenities. We Do not refund for failure to read descriptions of site sizes and hook ups for site or rental unit descriptions, This is your responsibility to choose a site that is appropriate for your RV and one vehicle.
You must agree that you have read and understand our policies in their entirety and understand we do not honor charge backs on credit cards for completed stays or for failure to follow our cancellation policy prior to reserving online or via phone.
By accepting these policies and checking the box agreeing to proceed with your online, phone, or in person booking you agree to the terms of all our policies and understand them. You authorize River Falls at the Gorge to process any reservation charge or cancellation charge as stated above to your card on file that you have provided.
